THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE KINGDOM

For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the Teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of Heaven. – Matt 5: 20 (NIV)

"But I warn you—unless your righteousness is better than the righteousness of the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven!
Holy Bible, New Living Translation

Righteousness Means the “Practical Living of the Perfect Will of God Revealed”. It also means, Living Right

Teachers of the law (Scribes) are the custodians, teachers and the revealers of God’s will in Law / Prophets. They are role model pertaining to the Will of God in Law / Prophets, Ezra 7: 1-11.
The Scribes genealogy is traced back to the era of Priesthood in Deuteronomy chapters 21 verse 5 and 17:15-18. Meaning the Scribes were chosen people and the office allotted by God Himself.
As for the Pharisees, they were the strictest set of people as to the keeping of the Law of Moses / Prophets. Such was the zeal Saul had (now Paul) who persecuted believers thinking he acted appropriately – Acts 26 : 5.

Kingdom Righteousness Propounded by Christ – Do not store up for yourselves  treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where moth and rust, do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. – Matt 6: 19-21 (NIV)

What’s the kingdom of God? But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you – Matt. 6:33(KJV). We search or seek because it’s not reveal as compared to the Church. In Matt. 7:13-14 it further shows how really hidden it is such that only few who sort can see.

Requirement for seeing the Kingdom

Jesus answered and said unto him, verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. – John 3: 3 (KJV). It is very clear hereby that after physical birth, one must be incubated by the WORD OF GOD (Pure Word) and he or she is re-born.

N/B: The Law / Prophets ended in the era of John the Baptist who preached and people pressed into the Kingdom, see Luke 16:16.

Condition(s) of Entering The Kingdom

(1)    Entering by Baptism – John 3:5, Colossians 1:13. Highlighted the means whereby we are qualified to enter the Kingdom spiritually (Water).

(2)    Entrance By Revelation – 2 Peter 1:11. The revelation that produced knowledge, that produced understanding of the Kingdom; is the way into the Kingdom physically.

In keeping to the Law / Prophets as was to the commandments of Moses, it’s expedient one exceeds that level of righteousness to the highest level of the righteousness of God’s Kingdom.

In Matt. 25:31-40 is recorded those that met standard of The Righteousness of the Kingdom of God. Unfortunately, some equally could not accept The Righteousness of the Kingdom of God in Gospels of Mark 10:17-22 and Luke 12:16-21.

MAY THIS LATER SET NEVER BE YOUR PORTION IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

The righteousness of the kingdom surpasses knowing the law, it goes beyond knowing everything in the bible but it is simply applying the little you have learnt or heard.

Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.
Matt 5:16 AMP

Remain Blessed.
