OPEN HEAVEN SERIES MAY2013

….. Keep Planting
It is the fourth month of the calendar and by now in the secular calendar, planting has commenced and farmers are labouring heavily to ensure a bountiful harvest for August.

We have been launched into open heaven since January and by now, you must have experienced your first rain, and what does that tell you? A farmer waits earnestly for the first rain so that he can till the ground will not plant themselves, you have to work. Open heaven signifies God’s abundant rain to ease the pain of tilling the ground so that anything you plant will yield fruit. According to Eccl 3:2, it says, there is time for everything including planting time and harvest time. You cannot and will not yield anything if you fail to plant. If you fail to plant, you would only be wasting the divine raindrops from heaven.

Open heaven has already started coming your way even if you don’t believe it and it’s time to plant.
Eccl 11:1-7
11 Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days.
2 Give a serving to seven, and also to eight, For you do not know what evil will be on the earth.
3 If the clouds are full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth; and if a tree falls to the south or the north, in the place where the tree falls, there it shall lie.
4 He who observes the wind will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap.
5 As you do not know what is the way of the wind,* or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, so you do not know the works of God who makes everything.
6 In the morning sow your seed, And in the evening do not withhold your hand; For you do not know which will prosper, Either this or that, Or whether both alike will be good. NKJV

Send your Grain across the seas, (Be Generous MSG TRANSLATION) and in time Profit will come back to you.

You may begin to wonder what I mean by planting and you may also say that YOU ARE NO FARMER. Planting Means simply INVESTING but the word INVESTING is generally a hard word to explain.

-           Heaven has sent you rain of promotion, salary increase, New accommodation, new car; Sow it into the life of someone who cannot afford to pay you back (7 or even 8 V2). Scatter it believing that God who gave you this rain will give you bountiful harvest (Prov. 29:7, Ps 41:1)

-           Heaven has sent you rain, let it reflect in your offering and accuracy in tithing

-           Heaven has sent you rain, Try investing money in business opportunities (v4 says, Farmers who wait for perfect weather will never plant)

-           Heaven has sent your rain; Plant and invest in yourself: Abraham Lincoln says “I will read, study, prepare and wait for my time to come”. You cannot expect to get money or wealthy without a Job or means of livelihood; you cannot expect to get a means of livelihood without an experience or job idea; you cannot get the experience or job idea without a form of formal or informal educational investment in your life. John Mason said “Only a fool will continue to do the same thing, the same way every time and expect different results. Invest money, time, sleepless nights on yourself and although any investment you do on yourself is not directly transferable, the fruits is  Transferable (Inheritable)

-           Heaven has sent you rain, plant without counting how much you have planted especially in people. The greatest investment you can ever invest is in HUMANS.an Igbo dirge says “only by our works would we be remembered) humans are very fertile soil no matter how ungrateful they might be.

-           Heaven has sent you rain; Plant your seeds in the morning, noon and Night, you do not know when the profit or where they will come from.

Open heaven is guaranteed , God has started sending rain but you need to play your part by planting no matter how painful and watch the rest of the rain water the seeds to maturity.

The Rain will ease your planting, your tilling and in the uncertain time of harvest, I am certain that your investments to God, The church, Man and yourself will pay off according to the laws of Planting and harvest.
Until Next Series, Keep Planting.

Shalom
Evans Chibuzo
